About Myself

A Brief Introduction

My name is pronounced like Shaa-rn and is Welsh for the name Jane and it completely baffles me when people can pronounce it correctly on their first try. I am twenty years old and from Sunderland, in the North East of England. I am currently a third year history student at the University of Stirling in Scotland, also studying a duel secondary teaching qualification in History and Modern Studies and working as an ESOL teacher during the summer break. I live in Stirling with my boyfriend Alex.

I've read beauty and lifestyle blogs since around 2010 and have always tried to keep up with current beauty brands. My decision to start my own blog originally began in 2012, then again in 2015. A year later and I'm determined to keep blogging over the summer, as I find it incredibly therapeutic. 

The Concept of The Seven Deadly Sians

My blog is named after a play on words, based upon the biblical concept of the 'Seven Deadly Sins' and my name, Sian.

Pride - Posts about my hometown and my university town, history and teaching posts.

Sloth - Days away, adventures and explorations.

Wrath - Political opinions and opinions on current events.

Greed - My own make up collections/looks.

Gluttony - Bar, cafe, restaurant reviews along with my own recipes.
